          Moritz Concrete was founded in 1950 in Mansfield, Ohio.  Over the past 50-plus years we have grown considerably, keeping our customers needs as the primary focus.  Our Mansfield location now has two central mix batch plants along with a fleet of over 30 mixers containing both front and rear discharge trucks.  In November 1988, Moritz Concrete added another location in Ashland, Ohio named  Moritz Materials.  Since 1988 Moritz Materials has grown from a very small dry batch facility with 5 mixers into a central mix batch plant with over 20 mixers, both front and rear discharge.  In addition to ready mix concrete, our Ashland location also offers a complete line of concrete block and a showroom fully stocked with concrete and masonry tools.  In 1992, due to customer request, Moritz Materials added an additional location in Shelby, Ohio.  Our Shelby location offers a fully stocked block yard along with a complete line of miscellaneous concrete and masonry building materials.
